Client required monitoring of a burn in process in factory for military customers. Atlas worked with engineering and quality groups to explore options that would be supportable, affordable and yet meet the military requirements. The final product allowed customer to build multiple racks without requiring high cost components. The software control gave the customer the ability to easily modify the burn in routine and recorded both summarized and detailed information in customer's databases.
Customer has a complicated order entry process that requires thorough knowledge of products and precise entry of orders. This complexity resulted in an unacceptable amount of errors in order entry. Atlas worked with the client to identify key aspects of order entry and places where the process was error prone. Atlas integrated a "Check Order" menu option in the client's ERP system that was quick and easy for the customer to use and identify potential errors before the order is booked. With our design, the client's in house development team is now able to update and extend the "Check Order" logic as necessary.
Client was replacing a legacy CRM package with Salesforce and was looking for ideas to improve its processes and data policies. Atlas performed a full review of the client's current implementation with users throughout the company. We created the critical user stories for the sales, planning, and finance teams. Atlas provided recommendations for streamlining data entry, reducing duplication of data, and simplified the overall process. Once the process was finalized, Atlas created the software to integrate Saleforce with the client's Oracle EBS system.
Client has a manufacturing system that has grown substantially over the years and was no longer met performance requirements. Atlas reviewed the application and the back end systems with the client. Key portions of the application were critical and could not be changed at that time. Atlas worked around customer constraints and improved performance by archiving legacy data and tuning the SQL Server database in the new reduced size. Atlas also provided a quick way for authorized users to access archived information and where necessary, retrieve information from the archive and make it available in the production database and application.
